Archery event near Thiksay Monastery

After our trip to Thiksay Monastery, as I was about to head towards the bus stand, we heard some loud traditional instrumental folk music and started walking in the direction of the sound. We saw some really interesting archery event taking place (Archery and polo is something that ladakh is very famous for). The participants were using a basic bow, though the arrows where of a good quality.
