Traditional ladakhi homes & restaurants

This is a Dhabha cum dormitory along the Manali Leh route. During the day its a eating joint and during the night it turns into a motel (note the seating arrangements which doubles up as a bed).


You can get almost anything under the sun at these Dhabhas. My favourite is Dal, Chaval & subzi, they also serve noodles, soups & lots of chai, plus the traded products like mineral water, cold drinks & packaged snacks


This is not a traditional eating joint. This is Garden Restaurant in the main city of Leh (wonderful ambiance).
